Hello and welcome to Heritage Valley Independent Studies Program! 

 

I'm Blanca Rosa Mendieta, and I'm proud to be the principal of this incredible program that serves students from elementary through high school. With over 20 years in education and a background in both middle and high school, I've seen firsthand that every student learns differently and that's exactly why our program exists. 

 

Heritage Valley Independent Studies offers a flexible and supportive learning environment for families looking for an alternative to the traditional classroom. Whether it's for scheduling needs, personal learning styles, or simply wanting something different, we're here to help students grow, thrive, and stay on track with their goals. 

 

My mission is simple, to help every student find their path to success. We focus on personalized learning, strong teacher-student connections, and providing meaningful enrichment experiences that keep students engaged and moving forward.
